Told you I met her

My friend Jeff Goudie (run Maggiano's in Plano, TX) says, "meeting someone famous? Be brief, be brilliant and be gone."

I told Hillary I'm from Rome, NY; I thanks her for her work in the Senate to bring 600 jobs to Rome as part of Rome Air Redevelopment. She said she appreciated that someone knew something so detailed on her work in the Senate.

We posed. Nice shot. She'd be a great president. Why does the Right hate her so much?

Yikes..has it been that long?

I spend more time posting to Mark Urbin's blog than my own.

Some things driving me nuts these days. Mike Parham, school board trustee at IUSD, came to our legislative action meeting in May and pledged to work against Prop 76 on the California ballot and special election. If Prop 76 passes, the Governor gets more power to suspend funding rules for education; IUSD will get $600 less from the lowest funded district in the state. The school board voting to condemn Prop 76 by a 4-1 margin; the holdout, Mike Parham.

Mike, you're supposed to represent our kids, not the governor. Shame on you. And yes, its a flip flop.

Sharon Wallin has emailed me asking for my endorsement in the 2006 school board; she is the current president. Way too early.

I did meet Hillary Clinton on Saturday. Fun!
